A$25,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a man accused of injuring a police officer during an altercation Thursday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Todd Mayberry with second-degree battery and assault on a police office.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Police Lt. Jeremy Brown was working off-duty at Wal-Mart when he was informed of a disturbance in the store.

Mayberry was ordered to have no contact with Brown and told to come back to court March 1.
