A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of punching and biting his girlfriend Friday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Nathan Beavers, 35, with aggravated assault on a family or household member second offense third-degree domestic battery and first-degree terroristic threatening.

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Karres Manning explained the allegations against Beavers.

Beavers was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court April 8. He refused a public defender.
