A $100,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man on multiple drug and weapons related charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kerney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Antonio Stepps, 40, with five counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Reading from an affidavit from Investigator Patterson of the Tri-County Drug Task Force, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Wednesday, Stepps went to the Probation and Parole Office and while he was there, two officers searched his vehicle. They reported finding a ledger containing names and amounts that appeared to indicate drug dealing.

West said Stepps is currently on parole on drug related charges and recently bonded out of jail in North Little Rock on drug charges. He said he would hire his own attorney and was told to come back to court March 15.
