A $100,000 cash only bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and weapons related charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kasey Humphrey, 19 with possession of a machine gun, theft by receiving, possession of a controlled substance and fleeing.

Reading from an affidavit from Detective Richard McCorvy, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 6:49 p.m. Saturday, police conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan Maxima for a traffic violation and two occupants fled into a wooded area between the Piney Wood Apartments and a UAPB parking lot.

Akel said Humprey is out on bond on four counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of aggravated assault and theft of property and prosecutors will be filing a motion to revoke that bond.

Humphrey was told to come back to court May 10.
