A Pine Bluff woman was arrested after she allegedly left two infants in a parked vehicle while she shopped at Dillard’s in the Pines Mall.

Aiyana Arnold, 22, was taken into custody after police were sent to the mall at 12:30 p.m. in response to a welfare check.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Dante Nicholson, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel told the court what police found when they arrived at the mall parking lot.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for Arnold after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree.

She was ordered to have no contact with the infants and told to come back to court April 19.
