A White Hall man was arrested Friday after he was found in possession of a truck that had been reported stolen.

Heath Ludwick, 29, was taken into custody after sheriff’s deputies were sent to Reed Lake Road to assist Game and Fish Department wardens.

During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegation against Ludwick.

West said Ludwick has no prior felony convictions but does have several misdemeanor failures to appear from Pine Bluff and White Hall on mostly traffic related offenses.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $25,000 bond for Ludwick after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with theft of property.

Ludwick was told to come back to court Dec. 27.
