A Pine Bluff man who is out on bond was arrested Monday after being involved in an altercation with a woman.

Reading from an affidavit from Detective Keith Banks, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West described the events that led t Samuel Wilson’s arrest.

West said Wilson, 48, has a pending charge of aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm and prior convictions dating back to the mid-90s.

Because of the prior convictions and pending charges. Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $25,000 cash-only bond for Wilson after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
