A reported disturbance at the Big Banjo on West 28th Avenue Saturday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Pine Bluff woman, Lanecko Scarver,37, who is accused of injuring two children.

During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson told the court what officers found when they arrived.

Detective Chris Wieland reported that both children were taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital for examinations.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $25,000 bond for Scarver after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with two counts of second-degree battery and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. She was ordered to have no contact with the children until the case is settled.
