A $15,000 cash-only bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of threatening his brother during an altercation Friday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Rodney Whitmore, 31, with aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree terroristic threatening.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said at 8:10 p.m., Officer Derrick Johnson was sent to 1616 S. Chestnut St., in reference to a reported armed disturbance.

Reed said no gun was found at the scene,  but officers found the bag containing bullets.

She said Whitmore is currently out on bond on a charge of aggravated robbery and prosecutors will be filing a motion to revoke that bond.

Whitmore was ordered to have no contact with his brother and told to return to court on May 18.
