A $10,000 bond was set Thursday for a Redfield man accused of injuring his mother during an altercation Tuesday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jason Mozingo, 49, with second-degree domestic battery.

Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s investigator Sandra Harper, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said deputies were sent to a house off Pennington Road in Redfield in response to a reported domestic disturbance.

Akel said Mozingo was previously charged with aggravated assault on a family or household member in 2017 but that charge was dismissed in 2019.

He was ordered to have no contact with his mother until the case is settled and told to come back to Court Nov. 21.
