A $100,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and weapons-related charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Donnie McClanahan, 58, with possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Deputy Prosecutor Joe West told the court that sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a house on Mosely Street in Pine Bluff Thursday.

West said when McClanahan was questioned, he said the drugs, paraphernalia, and guns were his and his wife did not know anything about them. He also said he had been selling methamphetamine for about two months.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent McClanahan and he was told to come back to court June 26.
