A Pine Bluff man who has pending charges in Jefferson County Circuit Court will have to post a $10,000 cash only bond to be released from the adult detention center after a court hearing Thursday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Matthew Ludwig, 32, with felony fleeing, possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Sheriff’s Investigator Joseph O’Neal, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King told the court about the arrest.

King said Ludwig has charges of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and felony fleeing pending. The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent him.
