A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Jefferson County man accused of stealing a vehicle in White Hall.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kasey Speer, 33, with theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Ryan Edwards, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Sunday White Hall Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle that had been recovered in Pine Bluff.

West said Speer has one prior felony conviction and multiple misdemeanor failures to appear. He was ordered to come back to court July 31.
