Local law enforcement agencies are investigating two separate incidents after bodies were found in cars Monday morning.
Sources tell Deltaplex News that two bodies were located inside of a car at Jefferson Regional hospital around 6 a.m. Monday morning, while a third body was located in a car at Popeyes Chicken on Olive Street around 9:30 Monday morning.
Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley confirmed to Deltaplex News that his office responded to both locations as part of a death investigation.
No information has been provided regarding potential cause of death for either situation. Any updates provided to Deltaplex News will be announced as we receive them.
