At its most recent board meeting, the White Hall School Board selected a replacement for a board member who resigned.

White Hall School District Superintendent Gary Williams was asked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.

Williams said Huitt will serve until the next regular school board election which will be in in spring of 2025.

He said he has had conversations with the new board member, who has children in the district and believes he will be an asset to the district.

Morning Show host Greg Horne then switched gears and got Williams to talk about changes the Arkansas Activities Association has made to the football conference schedules, with White Hall remaining in the 5A Central Conference.

Williams was then asked where the other schools in Pine Bluff are going to be.

Jacksonville and Searcy will be new conference opponents next year while Morrilton and Vilonia will move to the 5A West.
