The White Hall Police Department is now led by a real veteran of law enforcement, Mickey Buffkin, who has been in the business for close to 29 years, with stops in Stuttgart, Pine Bluff and Jefferson County before being hired at White Hall.

Buffkin was named Chief earlier this month, replacing former Chief Greg Shspiro.

He was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and was asked about the camera system, and about other things he would like to see done within the department.

Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Buffkin if he wanted to add more cameras and Buffkin responded this way.

Having worked for both the Pine Bluff Police Department and Jefferson Count Sheriff’s Departments before going to White Hall, Buffkin was asked how much he works with those other departments now.
