A new drug treatment facility is reportedly moving into a residential area in Pine Bluff and residents of that neighborhood got no advance notice.

At a meeting of the Pine Bluff City Council Monday night, First Ward Council Member Lloyd Holcomb Jr., talked about what he had learned and after the meeting, shared the information with Deltaplex News.

Holcomb was talking about a plan to use the former Pine Bluff Commercial building for cryptocurrency which people in the neighborhood fought against at meetings of the Planning Commission.

Holcomb told Deltaplex News that he was starting a petition drive against the treatment facility.
