The White Hall School Board held a special called meeting Monday night to accept the resignation of two teachers, retirement of on teacher, and to approve employment of four teachers.
The board approved the retirement of Moody Elementary 5th grade teacher Natalie Dietrich – effective at the end of the 2022-23 contract.
They also approved the resignation of White Hall High School Science teacher Matthew Kalkbrenner at the end of the 2022-23 contract in addition to the resignation of White Hall Middle School English teacher and assistant football coach Marquis Chanay.
The board also approved the hires of Special Education Teacher Sheena Smith, Middle School Counselor Lashona Crater, High School Science teacher and assistant football and girls track and field coach Brandon Marks, and Middle School administrative assistant Aaliyah Williams.
In other business the board also approved the expulsion of one student for the remainder of the 2023 spring semester in addition to the entire 2023-24 school year.
