Names of the two homicide victims killed over the weekend have been released by Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley.

42-year-old Darwin Ford was shot and killed at 1020 S Linden on January 7. Deputy Coroner April Davis pronounced Ford deceased at 10:19 p.m. at the scene.

55-year-old Calvin Kirklin was found shot in a car located at 2200 W 10th on January 8. Deputy Coroner April Davis pronounced Kirklin deceased at 3:23 a.m. at the scene.

Both victims were transported to the State Crime Lab on January 8 according to Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley.

These were the first two homicides in Pine Bluff in 2022. To date no arrests have been announced in either of these cases.
