Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week, Pat Tate, the director of Neighbor to Neighbor was on hand to talk about their major fund raiser, the Bingo Burger Bash which will take place Thursday at the Pine Bluff Country Club from 5 to 9 p.m.
Tate said there are a limited number of tickets available for the event at a cost of $50 each.
In addition to the bingo, there will be a live auction and talked about some of the things that will be auctioned off
Tate said Neighbor to Neighbor receives money from the United Way and from grants and donations but most of the grant money is designated for specific items, like a refrigerator.
