UAPB Baseball: Greene Puts Together Quality Performance In Golden Lions Victory Over Alcorn St.

Andre Greene

PINE BLUFF, Arkansas —Thanks in part to a great performance on the hill from senior Andre Greene, the UAPB Golden Lions brought home a 4-3 victory against the Alcorn St. Braves on Sunday at the Torii Hunter Baseball Complex.

Junior Lawrence Noble led the way offensively for the Golden Lions, going 2-for-4 in the ballgame with a triple and an RBI. Junior Isiah Cohens compiled a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 1-for-3 with two walks and an RBI. Sophomore Carlos Velez also chipped in, going 1-for-2 for UAPB with two walks and an RBI.
