Governor Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday announced his intention to grant 15 pardons including two people who were convicted in Jefferson County.

A list released by the Governor’s Office indicated Hutchinson will issue pardons to Terry W. Gossett of Pine Bluff and Keenan Camp also of Pine Bluff.

Gossett was convicted of theft of property, a Class A misdemeanor in 1995, residential burglary and theft of property, Class B felonies in 1996, residential burglary and theft of property probation revocations and Class B felonies in 1996 and second-degree battery, a Class C felony in 1997.

He has completed all the terms of his sentences and there have been no further violations of criminal law. The Sheriff has raised objections to the application.

Camp was convicted of manufacturing a controlled substance methamphetamine, a Class Y felony, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture crystal methamphetamine, a Class B felony, criminal attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, a Class A felony, and possession with intent to manufacture, a Class D felony. All of the convictions were in Jefferson and Cleveland Counties.

He has completed all the terms of his sentence and there have been no further violations of criminal law. There are no objections to this application.
