Noah Roush, who was being held on residential burglary and theft charges was taken into custody near 19th Avenue and Plum Street by Sheriff’s Capt. Yohance Brunson and SEARK Police Officers Capt. Brad Vilches and Officer Aaron Torres.

SEARK Police Chief Richard Wegner talked about the involvement of his officers when he appeared on Oldies 1013 Friday.

Morning show host Greg Horne said it was his understanding that Roush tried to run.

Wegner also explained that even though the SEARK Police Department works on campus, it doesn’t mean they can’t leave campus.
