UPDATE 9:00 A.M.: Deltaplex News has confirmed that Sunday morning’s shooting at the Sahara Shrine Temple is an officer involved shooting. No information has been released as to how the incident began, or who the officer(s) involved are at this time. The Arkansas State Police have taken over the investigation, and will be releasing more information later today.
UPDATE 5:25 A.M.: Sources from various law enforcement agencies have informed Deltaplex News that 14 people were shot in two separate incidents in Pine Bluff on Sunday morning.
8 people were shot in a shooting at the Sahara Shrine Temple on Main Street.
4 people were shot in a shooting at University and Pullen.
Sources have also indicated that at least two victims have been med flighted to Little Rock hospitals in very critical condition.
UPDATE 3:45 A.M.: Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley has confirmed to Deltaplex News that there are fatalities due to the shooting. Additionally, at least two other patients have been taken to Little Rock hospitals via med flight.
Deltaplex News has also been made aware of another shooting in the area of University Drive and Pullen Avenue.
