Last week, Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr. was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show to talk about that new approach. Woods was one of the people who toured several cities in the northeastern part of the country where that new approach is working.

Woods went on to say that organizers at least one individual that he thinks young people, particularly those involved in gangs, will listen to.

He continued by saying that it is important for the group to do more than just have meetings to have meetings.
