Shapiro resigns as White Hall Police Chief

Greg Shapiro resigned Wednesday morning his duties as Police Chief on White Hall, Mayor Noel Foster has confirmed to DeltaplexNews.  Shapiro had lead the department since April of 2019.   Prior to leading the White Hall Police Shapiro was a former captain of the Pine Bluff Police Department and an auxiliary deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.  He also taught criminal justice classes at Southeast Arkansas College.

Foster told Deltaplex “Shapiro is a good man and I wish him well in all his endeavors.”  The mayor said he will name an interim Police Chief within the next few days.
