Tuesday night, Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington and the City Council approved two separate pieces of legislation dealing with tearing down the closed hotel attached to the Pine Bluff Convention Center and getting started on replacing it with a Courtyard by Marriott.
Wednesday, Ryan Watley, the CEO of Go Forward Pine Bluff talked about that when he called into the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Much of the financing for the project will come from a grant from the USDA, something Watley described as “hard to get.”
