Retired Arkansas State Representative Ken Bragg of Sheridan has a new job.

Bragg, who retired from the Arkansas House of Representatives after representing much of Grant County from 2013 to 2023 is serving as a liaison for new Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

According to the Sheridan Headlight newspaper, Bragg retired  because he wanted to devote more time to his mission work but when Sanders called, he accepted her offer.

“I’ve been busy ever since,” he said to the newspaper, especially with the governor’s big education bill. My job is to be a means of communication between the administration and the legislature.

He stressed however that this position was just for this session of the legislature and he was still planning on his mission work.

“This is just temporary,” he said.
