The American Red Cross sprang into action after tornados struck Little Rock and Wynne on March 31 and on Wednesday, State Red Cross representative Nate Genty appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show to talk about what the agency did in the first few hours after the twisters hit.

Gentry went on to say that living through the tornados was probably “the most traumatic thing in their lives” and morning show host Greg Horne asked him what else was done besides arranging temporary housing for victims.

Horne then asked about those supplies and Genty said this.

He said that so far, over 400 people have volunteered to help victims from 36 separate states.
