The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
Shortly before 7:00 p.m. officers responded to 3502 S. Virginia in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived they found a male shooting victim just inside the door of the residence. The male was pronounced dead at the scene by theJefferson County Coroner.
The victim has been identified as 21 year old Tre’vion Nelson of Pine Bluff.
The investigation is in the early stages and there are no reported suspects or a known motive for the homicide at this time. Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to call the detective office at 870-730-2090 or the dispatch center at 870-541-5300.
The body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.
This is the 10th homicide for Pine Bluff in 2022.
