Arkansas State Police on Monday announced they have made an arrest in the Sept. 3 shooting death of one man and the attempted murder of three others that occurred along Interstate 530 south of Little Rock.

According to a press release, Anthony Madison, 20, has been arrested and is currently being held at the Saline Count Detention Center without bond on one count of capital murder and three counts of attempted capital murder.

Madison is listed as a resident of Pine Bluff.

State Police Investigators have been the lead investigators in the case.

Devonta Miller, 19 was pronounced dead at the scene after he was hit by gunfire while riding in a Dodge Charger driven by Deddrick Childs, 19, who was wounded and taken to a Little Rock hospital.

The shots came from a second vehicle that pulled up along side the Charger, State Police said.

Two other passengers, Derek Parks, 18, and Austin Hunter, 19 who were in the rear passenger seats of the Charger were also wounded and taken to a Little Rock hospital. State Police said all four men were Little Rock residents.

That shooting incident occurred on the same day that Pine Bluff Police investigated three homicides, the first at 3101 Lilac St., where Horace Harrington Jr. was found with gunshot wounds that led to his death.

A few hours later, officers responded to a reported shooting at 1704 S. Elm St., that resulted in the death of Emonya Moten and injuries to Cedric LaPoole. While officers were working that scene, they were called to No. 25 Needles Drive where they found Kavon Mitchell with multiple gunshot wounds. Mitchell later died at the hospital.

Police have made multiple arrests in those three cases.
