A Pine Bluff man was arrested Friday after he allegedly robbed another man.

Police took Brandon Robertson, 36, into custody after he was located in the area of Fourth Avenue and Walnut Street and matched the description of one of the three suspects involved in the robbery.

During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Caleb Conrad said Detective Jason Boykin interviewed the victim and explained what the victim told Boykin.

When Robertson was questioned, he said he had been in the area of the old Crown Motel but did not go into a room and did not rob anyone. He said he was outside and repeatedly said he was “looking for something to drink.”

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $100,000 bond for Robertson after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated robbery. Robertson was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court on July 1.
