Pine Bluff man arrested after allegedly pointing gun at relatives

A Pine Bluff man was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly pointed a gun at relatives and threatened to kill them,

Edward Jenkins, 53, was taken into custody after police responded to a reported disturbance on Locust Street at 11 p.m.

During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said police spoke to the victims of the incident.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Jenkins after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault on a family or household member and terroristic threatening. He was told to have no contact with the victims and to come back to court on May 25.
