A suspicious vehicle parked outside a business on the east side of Pine Bluff Monday night resulted in the arrest of a man who allegedly broke into a building.

Robert Cosgrove, 46, was taken into custody after Sgt. Donald Griffin chased him down when Cosgrove attempted to run.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Karres Manning Center said at 11 p.m., Griffin was at 5th Avenue and Pennsylvania Street when he saw a silver vehicle parked at 500 S. Pennsylvania St.

When Cosgrove was questioned, he said his wife wanted a radio and he took what was in the building.

Manning Center said Cosgrove had several felony convictions, mostly in Sebastian County for forgery, theft of property, breaking or entering, financial identity fraud, drug-related charges, and aggravated assault.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Cosgrove after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with breaking or entering. He was told to come back to court April 11.
