Since May 7, six homicides have been reported in Pine Bluff involving victims under the age of 18.

At a press conference Friday at the Pine Bluff Police Department, Chief Denise Richardson talked about each of those cases and identified suspects in most of them.

Richardson also asked for the public to help in bringing those responsible to justice, and also reminded the public that rewards are available for information leading to an arrest.

Richardson then discussed each of the cases, beginning with May 7 at 2 a.m., when police responded to the hospital where a shooting victim had been brought in.

On June 9, officers were sent to a reported shooting at N. Hazel and W. Havis St.

Just over a month later, on July 11, police responded to a reported shooting at 2823 S. Orlando St.

Several suspects have been identified in the shooting on East Lake Drive including 17-year-old Morgan Leon, who is in custody. Police are seeking Kylon Bead, 17, and a 19-year-old who has not yet been identified in that case.

Finally, on July 16, at 8:50 p.m., Richardson said police were sent to the area of 17th Avenue and Hazel Street, then directed to a house at 2303 W. 17th where a shooting had been reported.
