Trudy Redus, who is currently running Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation told the City Council’s Public Works Committee that her department is currently working on the city’s two golf courses because of damage from last weeks’ storms.

Redus went on to say that work has started on the RV Park where there are trees down because there are currently occupants there.

She then went on to talk about the Harbor Oaks Golf Course.

Redus said a second gate has been put up at Harbor Oaks so that when work begins on the pro shop, people will not be able to access the property at night. When asked, she said she did not know the status of that work.

Also speaking at the meeting was Kelli Kennedy, the director of Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Clean and Beautiful who said she has been working on grants, including one that has been received for tree planting, with a majority of that work to take place in the fall.

She then talked about a second grant that has been received.
