Roads in the state are a lot safer now with the rate of uninsured drivers having been cut in half. This is in part due to a new online system that went into effect in 2020. Scott Hardin with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration explains how the system works

Notification of those not keeping their insurance up to date is sent to the state, to law enforcement and insurance companies when someone loses or cancels their insurance.
