A 51-year-old Hampton man was killed Tuesday when the4 motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and hit a tree in Bradley County.
According to a preliminary report, Jonathan Ferrell, 51, was eastbound on Bradley County Road 16 when he failed to negotiate a curve and the 2001 Yamaha he was riding hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 11:16 a.m. and the death was the 422nd so far th8is year on the state’s highways.
