With the primary elections just over a month away and with multiple candidates in the race for Pine Bluff mayor, the possibility of a run-off between the two top candidates is a possibility.

However, a change in state law regarding elections could eliminate that run-off but there are conditions involved.

On Wednesday, Mike Adam, Chairman of the Jefferson County Election Commission explained those conditions when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.

With three candidates in the race for Ward 3 of the Pine Bluff City Council also makes a run-off possible and Adam was asked when that run-off would occur, if it is necessary.

Adam went on to say this.

He said the possibility of voting centers will probably not be possible for the primary elections but hopefully by the general election they could be in place.
