The City of Pine Bluff is planning another clean-up this Saturday, this time focusing on the Dollarway area. Mayor Shirley Washington told Deltaplex News that this will be the second clean-up this year. The first focused on the Watson Chapel area.
The Mayor was joined by Kevin Harris, the stormwater coordinator who works for the Cooperative Extension Service and Harris talked about his duties.
In addition to reducing litter, Harris was asked what else could be done to improve the drains.
The Mayor said the clean-up will begin at 8 a.m. and participants should report to Central Baptist Church at 6107 Dollarway Road.
