A reported domestic disturbance at the Big Red Travel Plaza at White Hall in the early morning hours of Saturday resulted in the arrest of a man accused of injuring his pregnant wife.

Victor Milton, 45, was taken into custody after White Hall police responded to the business at 6:50 a.m.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Ryan Edwards, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander told the court what officers found.

Because Milton’s wife is pregnant, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with felony third-degree domestic battery and set his bond at $10,000. He was ordered to have no contact with his wife and said he would hire his own attorney.
