The White Hall School District Board of Directors met for their regular monthly meeting Tuesday and District Superintendent Gary Williams said one of the things that came up was the budget.

Williams was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday and host Greg Horne said that moving forward to the budget for the upcoming year, he imagined that teacher salaries would be the largest line in that budget.

Horne also asked about the Learns Act, which has been around for a year now and how its provisions are being received, not only at White Hall but also across the state.

With the district losing 10 teachers, the subject of teacher retirement also came up.
