Woodlawn’s baseball and softball teams collected a number of postseason accolades following the 2026 season, with players earning recognition at both the state and conference levels.
Leading the honors for the Bears were junior catcher Parker Arnold, junior third baseman Hollis Holderfield and junior shortstop/pitcher Logan Clark, all of whom received Class 2A All-State recognition.
Senior infielder Tyner Burris and senior outfielder Tyler French were named to the Class 2A All-State Tournament Team.
The Bears also had a strong presence on the 8-2A All-Conference Team after claiming both the conference regular-season championship and tournament title. All-conference selections included Tyler French, Parker Arnold, Gavin Edmonds, Logan Clark, Tyner Burris, Hollis Holderfield, Ethan Saeler, Cash Hargis and Ty Motes.
The Lady Bears were likewise recognized for their accomplishments during the season. Senior pitcher Laci Rauls, senior outfielder Jaci Hoyt and freshman pitcher Molly Shelby each earned Class 2A All-State honors.
Rauls and Hoyt added to their postseason accolades with selections to the Class 2A All-State Tournament Team.
Woodlawn softball also produced seven first-team 8-2A All-Conference selections. Those players were Laci Rauls, Jaci Hoyt, Molly Shelby, senior shortstop Kendall Tooke, senior first baseman Karsyn Chastain, senior infielder Kaylee Misho and sophomore outfielder Maeley Simmons.
Senior outfielder Addison Holland and sophomore infielder Anniston Wright were named second-team all-conference selections, giving the Lady Bears a total of nine players recognized by conference coaches.
