The Monticello Rotary Club is once again asking the community to help support girls in Drew County through its third annual feminine hygiene product drive.
The collection drive is underway starting today and continuing through August 21st.
All donations will benefit girls in Drew County through Vera Lloyd and the Baptist Home.
Community members are encouraged to donate new, individually wrapped feminine hygiene products.
Monetary donations are also being accepted and will be used to purchase additional supplies.
CashApp donations can be made to $RotaryMonticello.
Access to feminine hygiene products is a basic need, but the cost can create an added financial burden for many families.
Organizers hope the drive will help ensure local girls have access to the products they need with dignity and confidence.
Donation boxes are located at First United Methodist Church, POSH and Southern Style Family Hair Care in Monticello.
Walmart, ESA, Union Bank & Trust and Commercial Bank have already contributed to this year’s effort.
Now in its third year, the drive is part of the Monticello Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to serving Drew County through local community projects.
Anyone interested in donating or learning more is encouraged to contact a Monticello Rotary Club member.
