Pine Bluff City Council to Finalize Urban Agriculture Task Force Appointments Monday

The Pine Bluff City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. tonight at City Hall, with the appointment of the remaining members of the city’s Urban Agriculture Task Force serving as the primary item on the agenda.

Council members are expected to consider a resolution confirming the remaining appointments to the 18-member task force, which was established to promote and implement urban agriculture initiatives throughout Pine Bluff.

The proposed appointments include representatives from education, agriculture, hospitality, historic preservation and the community at large.

In addition to the proposed resolution, the council will hear reports from its standing committees, including Ways and Means, Economic and Community Development, Public Works, Public Safety and other committee chairs.

The meeting will also include public comments on agenda items, approval of the July 7th meeting minutes, announcements and an opportunity for public comments on non-agenda items before adjournment.
