A $10,000 secured bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of pointing a gun at multiple people.
Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgeforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge 18-year-old Ladontae Wilburn with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault.
Reading from an affidavit by Pine Bluff Police Department Detective Sargeant Jason Boykin, Prosecuting Attorney Shana Alexander said on June 1st, an officer responded to a disturbance on E 11th Ave.
According to several people at the scene, a silver Chevy Malibu pointed a gun at them.
Shortly after, a silver Malibu approached the officer and advised they were the ones pointing guns at people.
The officer then instructed the occupants to put their hands where she could see them and asked the driver, later identified as Wilburn, as well as the rear passenger to step outside the vehicle.
A handgun was observed on the floorboard under the driver’s seat.
He was ordered to have no contact with the victims and is scheduled to return to court July 24th.
