A $2,500 secured bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of domestic violence.

Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgeforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge 29-year-old Logan King with 3rd Degree of Domestic Battering, second offense.

Reading from an affidavit, Prosecuting Attorney Shana Alexander said on May 31st, an officer was dispatched to 1200 N Hutchinson St. in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that King took her phone while she was sleeping, then pushed her into a wall when she wanted to leave the residence to avoid a physical fight.

He has a prior domestic battering conviction from March of this year.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and is scheduled to return to court July 24th.
