A provision of the Learns Act focusing on reading at grade level in the third grade will be explained to parents in the White Hall School District at a series of meetings at the elementary schools Monday.
School District Superintendent Gar Williams talked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Friday.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Williams if parents will be told the exact score for their kids or will their just be averages discussed.
Horne asked how is it going to work if students are really close but don’t reach the needed score, will there be exceptions or will it be tough?
Horne then said it’s not all on the school as much of it is also on the parents.
