The White Hall School District board met Thursday for a special called session to finalize the 2025-2026 budget and according to Superintendent Gary Williams, everything went smoothly.
Williams appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and was asked if the budget was similar to last year’s or were there big changes.
Morning Show host Greg Horne told Williams that several years ago there were big changes to teacher salaries, particularly for new teachers, but it seemed the district was able to absorb those changes.
Williams was also asked if there were any big expenses coming since school officials had talked about doing something at the football stadium.
