Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Jason Duren was joined by Yolanda Pitts, the CEO of Turning Point Inc.
Pitts has worked with children and families for over 36 years and her office in the Donald W. Reynolds Service Center is a satellite of Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
She said she teaches parenting classes and Morning Show host Greg Horne what she is trying to teach parents.
She then continued to explain the program.
Horne then asked her who she was trying to reach, saying he had never been to a class on parenting and thinks of himself as a pretty good parent. He said he reads and pays attention to his family and listens to his parents and other parents
Duren then joined the conversation.
Pitts was then asked how do these young parents know they need to get involved with you and take these classes.
She then went on to say this.
